Revolution Biography - Frank Longobardi
Lead Vocals, Harmonica & Keyboards
I fell in love with Rock n' Roll when I first heard The Beatles. They
are probably my biggest influence. In the early 1970's, I started singing
with an acoustic band performing songs from groups such as CSN, The
Beatles, America, Pure Prairie League, Neil Young, etc. Later, around
1973, we grew into a full-fledged rock band playing Rock n' Roll radio
hits. Then sometime in the early 1980's we decided to make major changes
to the band, and started playing the new wave and dance music that was
hot at that time. We were now performing songs from INXS, The Cars,
and Tears for Fears, Prince to name a few.
In 1989 I decided to move to Colorado. Once here, I hooked up with a
company that provided Karaoke to the Denver area bars and became a host.
I am still involved in Karaoke when I am not performing out at local
nightclubs with REVOLUTION.
I married my wife Angie, in 1997, and we currently reside in Aurora,
Colorado with our two "kids", Sammy and Belle. All in all,
I've been "Rockin" for the past 30 years now, and I see no
reason to stop "Rockin" in the future! I joined REVOLUTION
around March of 2005, and I enjoy the music that we are playing. The
"Classic Rock" takes me back to some good feelings as well
as the current "Radio Rock" we are playing.
